A few recent examples of how we’ve helped organizations streamline operations, modernize their systems, and accomplish their goals.
Education Grants Management System
Modernization and expanspansion of the Pennsylvania Department of Education's grant management system, through which grants totalling approximately $1.2 billion are processed annually. Improved many existing features to provide faster, more efficient processing and added additional features, such as APIs to interface with external systems.
Crash Investigation System
Solar Flare was contracted to join a project for the Commonwealth of Tennessee that had repeatedly missed deliverable dates and was at risk of failure. We were able to join the project, "right the ship", and complete the features planned for their Crash Investigation System.
Educator Discipline Tracking System
Pensylvania's Office of Chief Counsel contracted for Solar Flare to take over a failed project. We were able to quickly determine the state of the project, determine what could be salvaged and what could not, and develop a plan to complete the incomplete features as well as deliver the remaining features for their new Educator Discipline Tracking System.
